{"id":577,"date":"2003-01-19T17:35:00","date_gmt":"2003-01-19T17:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gnodal.protension.com\/journal\/?p=350"},"modified":"2003-01-19T17:35:00","modified_gmt":"2003-01-19T17:35:00","slug":"350-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/gnodal.protension.com\/journal\/archives\/577","title":{"rendered":"Imported from MozDawg without title"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Responding to Dave Winer&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/davenet.userland.com\/2003\/01\/06\/firstEssayOfTheYear\">&#8220;First Essay of the Year&#8221;<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/radio.weblogs.com\/0113297\/\">Jeremy Allaire<\/a> asked himself, &#8220;whether weblogging as we know it will truly become a mainstream form of personal communications and sharing, rather than it&#8217;s current perceived niche as form of personal or independent Internet journalism.&#8221; His musings raise two major characteristics of blogs:<\/p>\n<li>&#8220;They make publishing to the web really simple &#8212; they are very simple, consumer-level content management systems.
